Umeda Area Management Alliance

The Hankyu Corporation, Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd., West Japan Railway Company, Grand Front Osaka TMO and Osaka Metro Co., Ltd. run the Umeda Area Management Alliance with the aim of enhancing the competitiveness, ability to attract customers, and regional power of the entire Umeda area, and achieving sustainable development so as to further boost the appeal of the Umeda area.

We are supporting entrepreneurs who will play a role in revitalizing the Kansai region and creating new industries, so as to help boost the international competitiveness of the Kansai region, primarily the Osaka-Umeda area, as an international business hub.

    We received the 2018 Good Design Award together with the Saito Nishi Elementary School District Urban Development Promotion Council.

  • Saito Rice Terrace Farmer Club

    Saito Rice Terrace Farmer Club

    Since 2002, with the support of local farmers, we have been planting rice and harvesting vegetables in the rice fields of an agricultural forest area adjacent to the Saito. To date, 2,000 Saito residents have participated in this club (as of May 2023).

  •  Saito Flea Market

    Saito Flea Market

    We hold a flea market at the Cube 3110 site in front of the Saito Nishi Station. This market is helping to vitalize the town, with Saito residents selling hand-made and recycled items and stores in the Saito area setting up stalls.

MUSE Takatsuki

Integrated Maintenance and Management

With the cooperation of the MUSE Takatsuki business vendors, we have formed the MUSE Takatsuki Management Council for the integrated maintenance and management of sidewalks and decks of public facilities and the pedestrian-access open spaces of privately-owned land and private decks, etc. By integrating the management of facilities that have different owners, we are raising the value of assets by keeping the town looking beautiful well into the future.

Mukogawa Mizuki-no-Machi

  • Decided on Mizuki Club as the name for community activities
    Decided on Mizuki Club as the name for community activities
    We decided on Mizuki Club as the name for the Mukogawa Mizuki-no-Machi (condominiums and detached houses) community activities, and created a club logo.
    We are supporting the events developed out of the hobbies and interests of participants, who wear an original club bandana when taking part in community activities.
  • Promoting interaction among local residents
    Promoting interaction among local residents
    With the cooperation of the locally-active Gomi Bugyo Project, we hold events to make sword-shaped tongs together with residents and then use them to clean up the surrounding areas.
    We are also partnering with local cafes, and holding classes at the meeting rooms of condominiums on how to brew a delicious cup of coffee. These are just some of the various activities we are carrying out in the area.

    Hands-on use of disaster preparedness equipment
    We hold fun hands-on events for residents to try and actually use the disaster preparedness equipment installed on the grounds of condominiums. We have also prepared disaster preparedness equipment for local residents, as well as residents of condominiums, to use during a disaster.
