1947

  • February

    Establishment of Naniwa Shotengai Corporation in Nishi-ku, Osaka, and launch of the land and buildings leasing business.

  • March

    Changing of the company name to Naniwa Enterprises Co., Ltd.

1952

  • September

    Establishment of the company with capital of 100 million yen, set up of the head office in the Hankyu Building at 41 Kakuda-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka, and launch of the land and buildings leasing business.

  • December

    Merger with Yodoyabashi Building Inc. and Kobe Tochi Kogyo Co., Ltd.

1953

  • March

    Relocation of the head office to inside the Hankyu Kouku Building at 31 Kakuda-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka.

  • May

    Launch of the non-life insurance agency business.

  • August

    Relocation of the head office to inside the Sakurabashi Building at 4-Chome 29 Sonezaki-kami, Kita-ku, Osaka.

  • September

    Launch of the real estate property brokerage business.

  • October

    Launch of the real estate appraisals and evaluations business.

    Launch of the land and buildings sales business.

    Launch of the real estate agency acquisition business.

    Approval as an over-the-counter issue in the Osaka Securities Exchange.

    Approval as an over-the-counter issue in the Kobe Securities Exchange.

    Opening of a First-Class Architectural Office.

    Suspension of sales activities.

1961

  • October

    Designation as a listed issue in the Second Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange.

1963

  • August

    Redesignation as a listed issue in the First Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange.

  • September

    Relocation of the head office to inside the Shin Hankyu Building at 8 Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka

1966

  • March

    Relocation of the head office to inside the Higashi Hankyu Building at 16 Takagaki-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka.

1967

  • May

    Merger with Kitano Land Corporation and Shijo Land & Building Corporation, and restart of business operations.

  • June

    Change of trade name to Hankyu Realty Co., Ltd., and relocation of head office to Shimogyo Ward in Kyoto City.

  • September

    De-listing of stock on the Osaka Securities Exchange, concurrently with the merger with Hankyu Realty Co., Ltd. in Kyoto City in October of the same year.

  • October

    Merger with Hankyu Realty Co., Ltd. in Osaka City, and complete take over of all sales activities.

1967

  • October

    Merger with Hankyu Realty Co., Ltd. in Kyoto City in order to change the par value of stock, resulting in capital of 1,220 million yen.

  • November

    Relocation of the head office to inside the Higashi Hankyu Building at 16 Takagaki-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka.

  • December

    Listing in the First Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange (par value of 50 yen).

1978

  • February

    Relocation of the head office to inside the Higashi Hankyu Building at 1-1 Kakuda-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka (due to a change of the displayed address).

1990

  • March

    The first 〈Geo〉, Geo Midori-chi Koen was born.

1993

  • October

    Entry into the fast food business.

1994

  • January

    Establishment of the company’s management philosophy and policy.

1995

  • January

    Setting up of a task force to respond to the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.

1996

  • March

    Opening of the company’s website.

  • October

    Launch of the life insurance agency business.

1998

  • November

    Completion of HEP to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company’s founding.

2000

  • February

    Implementation of real estate securitization.

2001

  • April

    Acquisition of ISO14001 Certification.

  • September

    Conclusion of a stock exchange agreement with Hankyu Corporation.

  • December

    Acquisition of agenda item of document approval of the stock exchange agreement between the company and Hankyu Corporation at a special shareholders’ meeting.

2002

  • March

    De-listing of the company’s stocks.

  • April

    Stock exchange agreement results in the company becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hankyu Corporation.

  • October

    Merger with Gyaza Hankyu Corporation.

2003

  • February

    Merger with Hankyu Five Corporation.

2004

  • July

    Merger with Nose Electric Railway Co., Ltd.

2009

  • January

    Transfer of insurance agency business to Hankyu Hanshin Insurance Service Co., Ltd.

2015

  • October

    Hankyu Hanshin Housing Support Ltd. is made a subsidiary.

2018

  • April

    Transfer of the real estate business of Hankyu Corporation and Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. to Hankyu Realty Co., Ltd.

    Change of trade name to Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp.

    Relocation of the head office to inside the Hankyu Terminal Building at 1-1-4 Shibata, Kita-ku, Osaka.
